Flashback to the 6th of June 2013.

On that day, my neighbour called to inform me my car had been broken into, the passenger seat window had been smashed and glass was all over the place.

I felt a rush of stress creeping up on me. The next day was my very last one in the office, could I just leave like that to go check on my car? Well I had no choice, my husband was already working in France and something had to be done.

Long story short, it took me 3 weeks to get all the duplicates and documents (including new licence plates) needed to drive my car.

On the 28th of June 2013, I was a happy woman, I had managed to do it, I had all my car documents, we could move to France and import our car. I was relieved.

Comes the 29th of June, the day before our departure. For some reason my husband is driving my car that day. With our daughter, they decide to eat in the car and (maybe the strangest bit!!) to clean it and throw away everything they can find.

And guess what was included in that trash bag? Yep, you got it right, all my car documents that I had been collecting for the past 3 weeks!!

It all ended nicely as at 9:30 PM my husband went on a mission to recover them from the trash he had thrown them into, a good 35 minutes drive away from where we were staying! At 11 PM, he came back victorious, he had found them!

Today we laugh about this but let me tell you, on the 29th of June 2013, we didn’t laugh!!
