arc-en ciel

We all have that one place that feels right. Everything seems to be aligned, stress levels go down, it’s just a fit. You may be lucky and have found it or you may still be searching for it without knowing it’s out there, waiting for you.

For me, the mountains seem to be the place where I should live. Once I reach a certain altitude, its magic operates. I reach my balance. Maybe it’s just that I’m on holiday but I don’t think so, I don’t have the same sensation anywhere else.

When nature takes over, when pollution levels go down, when the majesty of the surrounding mountains make you feel tiny, that’s when I feel great.

Waking up and seeing the sun entering the valley, looking down on the morning clouds, witnessing a full rainbow, hearing the thunderous echo during a thunderstorm and seeing it all change in the blink of an eye. I’m a restless person but here, I could just sit on a chair and admire all these changes unfold in front of me.

One day I wish I’ll move to higher ground (still on earth though!), I want to experience this feeling on a daily basis, see if it would last longer than my holiday, if it is the missing piece of the puzzle in my life.
